1. Girl, Wash Your Face
By Rachel Hollis
I know her new book Girl, Stop Apologizing just released, but I still haven’t read her first one! So I finally ordered it and will be reading it this spring!
I have heard such great things about this book from many friends, people I follow on Instagram, and many celebrities have posted about it as well! Plus, I listen to her podcast each week and she mentions her books all the time. To continue to support her and see what all the rave is about, I am very excited to begin reading this one!
2. Broke Millennial: Stop Scraping By and Get Your Financial Life Together
By Erin Lowry
I first came across this book on Pinterest. The title grabbed my attention right away, and I ordered this book that same week. The author Erin Lowry has another one coming out in April, and I want to get this one read beforehand so I am ready for her sequel!
3. Love + Luck
By Jenna Evans Welch
I LOVVVVEEEEDDD Jenna Evans Welch’s Love + Gelato! I first came across Love + Luck through someone’s Instagram account, and am so happy that I did. It was a super easy and fun read that I can not wait to read this one, Love + Luck!
4. One Day in December
By Josie Silver
I first saw One Day in December from Reece Witherspoon’s Book Club x Hello Sunshine on Instagram, and then I started to see it all over the online book club communities on Facebook!
I definitely meant to read this IN December, but I had other books lined up and decided to put this one on hold. So I’m very excited to get to it this Spring.
5. Turtles All The Way Down
By John Green
The very first book I read by John Green was Fault In Our Stars (loved it! Made me cry hysterically) and then Looking for Alaska (which had a twist that I did not expect). I was searching on Amazon for a few other of his books and stumbled upon his most recent one, Turtles All The Way Down.
I have loved two of his books so far and am very excited to dig into another!
6. You Are A Badass: Everyday
By Jen Sincero
I read You Are A Badass in the Fall of 2018 and loved it! I loved how honest she was, along with her sprinkles of sarcasm and humor. After I completed her first book, I saw that she now has a You Are A Badass series, and am very interested in how they go.
7. Eleanor & Park
By Rainbow Rowell
I do not quite remember where I first saw this, probably on someone’s Instagram… which if you haven’t caught on by now, that’s where I find a lot of my books (Just catching onto that myself…)
~That’s a great idea! A blog post coming soon on what accounts to follow to be in-the-know of what books to read! See I got this *wink* Keep an eye out!~
ANYWAYS, I found this book (probably) on Instagram and really liked the cover… SO I read the summary, liked it and then bought it. Plus, I bought it with Rainbow Rowell’s other book, Fangirl, which I will probably add to this summer’s reading list.
8. 29 Gifts
By Cami Walker
I am very interested in reading 29 Gifts by Cami Walker. I found out about this one through Jen Sincero’s You Are A Badass. She shared how great of a read it was and how a month of giving can change one’s perspective.
9. Abundance of Katherine’s
By John Green
YES another John Green book!
Like I mentioned before, I was searching for his books on Amazon. While I stumbled upon Turtles All The Way Down, I also came upon Abundance of Katherine’s.
I love the summary of this one and just had to get it! It’s about a guy who keeps dating Katherine’s, and continues to keep getting his heartbroken by them. Then one day he meets the girl of his dreams, but there’s a problem. Her name is Katherine! My oh my! What shall he do?! We will just have to see!
10. Silent Patient
By Alex Michaelides
Did you know that Facebook has a TON of online book club communities? I didn’t up until I started searching them. Let me tell ya, THERE ARE A TON! I am a part of about 5 of them, at least. They each run differently, and have their own focus on what kind of books they read. Definitely recommend checking them out! And while you are at it, go ahead and ‘Like’ our book club, Chapter’s and Crumbs. Thanks, xoxo!
Anyways, those Facebook groups is how I found the Silent Patient. So many people posted about the book sharing how much they loved it and couldn’t put it down. After I saw it on the Facebook groups, people that I follow on Instagram started to post about it.
With that said, I am ecstatic to start reading it!
