Here we are again with another monthly obsession post. I actually really really excited to share with you the 5 monthly obsessions of April! It was a very exciting month, and filled with opportunities.
How was your April? Did it go as fast as mine? This year probably has been the fastest year that I’ve had yet! It is just flying by!

April 2nd was Bear’s 4th Birthday!! My big boy turned 4, I can not believe it! So in honor of him, he is my number one obsession for this month.
He got to enjoy a doggy cupcake from My Delight Cupcakery, received treats from his dog walker, and hiked with his dog friends!
2. Trader Joe’s Flowers
Since the first day of Spring, nearly every week I have been going to Trader Joe’s to get fresh flowers. Lately TJ’s has had some unique ones like pincushions (“Scabiosa”) and Craspedia’s!
They have separate bundles of flowers so you can assort your own! So I’ll grab some leafy ones and combine it with some cool flowers!

This month has been crazy with one trip after another! The second weekend of April, Alex and I got to go to San Francisco. This last weekend was Colorado, where I got to meet up with my mom and brother in Denver and then drove down to Colorado Springs!
San Francisco + Colorado were both blast! It’s of course great to spend time with Alex, and time with my family.
In San Francisco, we visited Muir Woods and went to various locations in SF.

In Colorado, we went a bit of everywhere! We first went into Denver and spent a few hours there, then went to our AirBnB in Colorado Springs, and hiked the Manitou Incline in Manitou Springs!
I FINALLY got to hike the Claremont 5 Mile Loop! I loved it so much the first time, I did it again with my dog and some of my clients!
Check out my experience and guide! C
I also got to hike through Muir Woods + the Manitou Incline + Barr Trail!
5. Broke Millennial
This has been the book of the month! PLUS the author, Erin Lowry, commented on my IG post of me sharing this book!!!!!!!
She also mentioned her book tour here in Los Angeles on May 2nd! I bought my ticket last week and am so excited to go!
Broke Millennial was such a great read. For it being my first financial book I’ve ever read, Lowry explained things very clearly and was super relatable. I have read blogs and articles on financial tips, but to read a whole book just about that was great and informative.
